Summary

1. Manipal University, Karnataka invites all the applicants for admission into Medical and Engineering courses viz., MBBS, BDS, BE, BPharm, PharmD.
2. Admission into the said courses will be done on the basis of rank in the All India Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU-OET).
3. Minimum age limit is 17 years at the time of exam.
4. Candidate must have passed their 10+2 Examination with 50 % marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology.
5. Date of Entrance Test is 14th April to 18th May, 2015.

Important Dates for Manipal Entrance Exam 2015

1. Last Date to Apply: 11th March, 2015
2. Online Entrance Exam Booking Dates: 21st March to 28th March, 2015
3. Entrance Test Date: 14th April to 18th May, 2015
4. Result of Entrance Test: 3rd week of May, 2015

Eligibility Criteria

1. Nationality: The applicant for MBBS & BDS must be an Indian.
2. Age: The applicant should not be below the age of 17 years.
3. Academic Qualification:Applicants must pass in 10+2, A level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually from a recognized University/ Board.
4. Subjects (aggregate): Candidate must score with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology taken together.

Note: Candidates aspiring for MBBS and BDS have to score a minimum of 50% marks in the OET for being eligible for the admission.

Exam Structure

An admission to MBBS and BDS is done only on basis of rank in All India Manipal University Online-Under Graduate Entrance Test (MUOET). UGET is conducted ONLINE and candidates have to answer on a computer provided at the examination center.

1. The test is two and a half hours long (2.30 hrs).
2. It consists of 200 multiple choice questions (MCQ).
3. The approximate distribution of questions is as Physics – 50; Chemistry – 50; Biology – 70; English & General Aptitude – 30.
4. There is no negative marking.

Admission Procedure

Admissions to MBBS and BDS courses are done only on basis of rank in All India Manipal University ONLINE Entrance Test (MU-OET).

Students can pay the fees either through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking or Demand Draft.

Candidates are required to send the Application form and DD/ Challan for Rs. 1000/- drawn on 'Manipal University' payable at Manipal or Udupi. The candidates who apply offline can either download the pdf application-take printout of it or can buy from Manipal University Admissions center.

How to fill the Form?

For those who apply ONLINE-

The requirements that have to be satisfied before applying are: 1. A Scanned copy of passport size photograph in .jpg format (200 x 200 dpi)
2. A Scanned copy of signature in .jpg format ( 200 x 200 dpi)
3. Credit card or DD towards payment of test fee Rs.1000

For those who apply OFFLINE-

Fill the particulars and register yourself before, you download the brochure and application form. Applicants can take printout of the application form and then complete it in all respects. After completion it can be mailed to Admissions center along with the DD of total fees for the test.
